Location

TransitOS accesses your device location solely to show your position on the map and find nearby stations. Location data is processed entirely on your device. It is never stored, transmitted off-device, or shared with anyone, and that includes the developer.

Network access

TransitOS makes HTTPS requests directly to FGV’s public API to fetch transit data (timetables, lines, stations). No intermediate server is used. No analytics, telemetry, or tracking code is included in the app.

Data security

All network traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). No personal data is stored or retained.

Data deletion

Since TransitOS does not collect or store any personal data, there is nothing to delete. You can uninstall the app at any time and no residual data will remain on any server.

Open source

TransitOS is licensed under the GNU AGPL-3.0. The full source code is available at github.com/IgnacioLD/TransitOS. You can audit it yourself.
